Build your strength and fine-tune your flexibility in this 30-minute seated exercise class. You will practice a variety of movements designed to improve your posture, increase muscle strength and joint mobility, and lower your risk for falls. Includes some standing exercises (generally in the last 5-10 minutes of class). You will need: a sturdy chair (no wheels!), hand-held weights, and a resistance band. Many of the exercises can also be performed standing or seated on a stability ball for balance and core challenge. This is a 10-class series: Tuesdays 11:30am - 12:00pm; June 14 - August 23 (no class July 5).
