Build your strength and fine-tune your flexibility in this 30-minute seated exercise class. You will practice a variety of movements designed to improve your posture, increase muscle strength and joint mobility, and lower your risk for falls. Includes some standing exercises (generally in the last 5-10 minutes of class). You will need: a sturdy chair (no wheels!), hand-held weights (2- to 6-pound, depending on your strength), and a resistance band. Many of the exercises can also be performed standing, or seated on a stability ball for balance and core challenge. This is a 10-class series: Tuesdays 11:30am - 12pm; May 16 - July 25, 2023 (no class 5/30).
