Build your strength and fine-tune your flexibility in this 30-minute seated exercise class. In Seated Stretch & Strengthen, you will practice a variety of movements designed to improve your posture, increase muscle strength and joint mobility, and lower your risk for falls. Includes some standing exercises (generally in the last 5-10 minutes of class). You will need: a sturdy chair, hand-held weights (2- to 6-pound, depending on your strength), and a resistance band. Many of the exercises can also be performed standing, or seated on a stability ball for additional balance and core challenge. This is a 10-class series: Tuesdays 11:30am - 12 noon; October 22, 2024 - January 14, 2025 (no class 11/26; 12/24; 12/31). Class series fee: $28
